1988 340 SD muffler

Anyone know of a 1988-89 340 SD being parted out ?
I am looking for a port side muffler for mine.
Why?? Well I Blew It UP ! Yup, blew the top right off of it.

Anyway I found one at Long Island Marine but the owner (I think) just will not return emails or calls so I have to start looking for another one somewhere. I have googled and messaged all the salvage yards I can find.
I can't believe that this part is sooooo hard to find. That and the little sliding cabinet doors in the galley...wow.

Don't ask how but I blew one up also about 8 years ago. How stupid. I just fiber glassed my lid back on along with fiberglass reinforcing along the bottom seam. I used black colorant in the epoxy so it all looks original

I have heard of people re-fiberglass cracked mufflers.

The doors you are looking for are called tambour doors. Do a search on here, there have been posts with links to suppliers of new door material.
