My radar arch has port and starboard 8ft antennas. I accidently broke the port one and need to replace it. There are 2 cables coming out of the bottom of this one. What does this mean as all other antennas I've dealt with are only one cable antennas?

If you are looking where the cables exit the foot of the arch, could be they just ran the cable from the starboard antenna to the port side. Or, one of the cables may be a bundle going to the spreader lights in the arch.

No, there are two cables coming out of the base of the antenna itself. The boat is currently dry docked inthe middle of alabama, so I dont have a way to check how well the radio is transmitting. I dont know if this antenna is an FM radio antenna and the starboard is for the VHF or if this is the VHF antenna.
