The problem with a new Merc is they are around 7K. Check around on craigs list or boat junk yards you should be able to find a used unit for a few hundred.

EASY , my trailer has torsion axels so it sits low , Prestige called it self centering , and it is , i do mine by myself with ease , i dont have to crank it far at all , if the boat floats up to the crank i would be în to deep , and then it would not self center, gotta be just right like most trailers i have had . very easy to crank , i dont think the 20 footers i've had in the past were this easy.Just me~
Out of curiosity... With your boat being a "trailer queen", how hard is it to load and unload on a bunk style trailer? I ask this as I just bought a bunk trailer for my 268 and I'm not sure if I need to buy an electric trailer winch to along with it...
