Im just now starting to get to know my boat, covers are fully off and now im seeing all the stuff that needs fixin :wow:
But im just looking around for when I bring a few people with me,there isnt much seating at all on deck :(
The pull out bench seat is kinda cool, but the 2 fold down jump seats are kinda small but besides that It doesnt look like they will hold much weight?
The PO had that entire captains seating area redone,so im wondering if maybe something is missing to help support some weight like maybe a cable or chain or something.
Or is that how it should be just plop on down?
I guess it would be ok for a person on the lighter side to have a seat while just a drift or a few drinks back at the slip, but I dont think I would trust them underway with bouncing around.

Those seats are for kids! I agree, they aren't really designed for a 250 lb'er while crashing through the waves. I think that's why there is a handle above, so you can stand and hang on! I've sat in them, but I always made sure my rear end was as far back as possible. Even then it's not a comfortable place to sit. They do have some nice storage options back behind them though. I'll bet mine got used 3 times in the 8 seasons that we owned the boat!

And, no, there are no chains or anything. They just hang over the ledge above the window. Seems like you could stand on the end and snap it off!
