OK, so I saw that this is for a 86 and below, but I've got a 87 and desperately need HELP!?!?:smt089

This is the situation:
We bought this unit in Jan of this year. It's beautiful!! but, the inside fabrics are in three different styles.
Front is one color, middle is another and aft is another, altough the curtins are the same. (Printed teal)
So the question is:
Does anyone out there have a color brochure for this unit, with pictures of the inside??? With that information I can match the original manufacturer color, (I think its the "teal pattern").
Thanks in advance for your help,
Brian

Sounds like someone has done some upholstery work. I doubt you will find the original patterns, so you probably just have to get as close as possible or just re-upholster everything. If you contact Sea Ray they can usually tell you the pattern and manufacturer. You can view their archive brochures here:

http://www.searay.com/archives.asp?tab=6&year=1987&folder2=26 feet and below

My 87 250 came from the factory with two differnt patterns. One in the bow and A differnt in the aft. Here in the next 2 weeks I will be re-upholstering all of the cabin in one type of fabric.

:thumbsup:Thanks for the help guys,
It seems like the wife is just gonna use a steam cleaner..

Hey Sundancer................
The unit that U have is exactly like mine. Where did U get the Camper, Rear, Top???????????
I'm looking for one. Any ideas????????
Thanks again,
Brian

Where did U get that camper top????????????????
I'm looking for one exactly like it. My boat is the same color and everything.
Thanks,
Brian

Sorry, we're on vacation and just got back to the hotel. We had our local canvas guy replace it. We also had him raise it up about 8 inches so there was more room for my head without stooping all the time. I think we did it in 2001 and it cost about $2,200 back then. It's in great shape 7 years later with no signs of wear. I might have to put some water proof stuff on it this year as a precaution. It doesn't leak but I don't want to find out it has a leak either! Ours had the camper back already, but your local upholstery guy can easily mount the rear pole support to give you a lot more space than the slant back. If you are going to have a new top put on, it won't cost much more to add it and it really gives you a lot more space in the rear.

I love the old Sea Ray's (OK the truth is I don't want to spend massive depreciating dollars on a NEW Sea Ray!), especially those prior to Brunswick making changes after they took over. It's a very classic looking design.

If you can, add your boat in your signature line along with the engine. It will help us help you if you have any questions! Welcome to the Club!! :)

Brian,
I have an '86 270Sundancer my wife hates the interior colors...so we went out got some sunbrella and sewed away.
Now the interior is awesome. The next thing I'm going to tackle
this winter is the cockpit upolstery is weathered and cracking, so
I pulled the seats and found some awesome marine vinyl at a
a local fabric outlet. white and going to sew in the two tone blue
stripes to keep it original. In another year I will have it in Bristol
condition. Even the engines and outdrives only have 40 hours on them Twin 170's.I would not invest this kind of time or money in
any other boat except an 80's Sea ray. There was an article in
soundings magazine this year they are sought after boats. Heck
I wouldn't invest it in anything above a '95. Anyway got carried
away...hope you get your interior squared away.
