At first I must apologize my bad english. I hope some one will understand my question.
I have Sundancer 250 with MC 5.0 MPI with Alpha One Gen 2 (ratio 1.81). I have difficulties to find a good propeller. Now the prop that i'm using is Mirage Plus 18p.
Top speed is 34 kn (39 mph) with 4900 rpm. Good cruising speed is around 23-27 kn (26-31 mph).
Overall everything is quite ok, but I would like to get more lift to the back end, that it would be easier to get on plane and would be able to drive a bit slower cruising speeds.
I have tried four different propellers: Black max 19", Revolution 4 17", Tempest (can't remender pich, mayby 17") and Mirage Plus 18p (what I have now).
I have been told that longer tube would help with the problem, but it's almost impossible to find dimension of propellers in sale.
So the question: What propeller has longest or longer tube than Mirage plus and would have good overall performance?
