i am looking to purchase a 1987 Sea Ray - 210 Morocco that has been stored indoors but no on humidity and temperature controlled. Last time in the water, 2005 but per current owner, motor and boat has been winterized and should be fine to start. I have called local NAMS personnel for survey inspections but thought I would ask what should I expect to inspect and replace prior to water operations.
boat has approx 485 hours on Merc 260 / alpha drive. exterior is faded due to non cleaning. includes trailer.

Inspect all hoses and belts, need batteries, need water pump impeller in lower unit, check engine is free, change oil and filter, check fluid in lower unit gearcase and change, check hydraulic and power steering fluids, look her over well and should be fine.

Also check the trailer wheel bearings, if they were put away wet they could be toast.

The interior is not faded due to non-cleaning, it is from the sun and age. If it is merely oxidized, you should be able to buff down to glossy gel-coat.
