1987 cuddy cabin remodel

We would like to completely remodel the deck area of our boat Thinking about having some kind of large deck on the back covering the motor for a sunning area. Has anyone completed this kind of remodel on a 21 ft cuddy? Any ideas are appreciated and pics of what you have done would be even better
