On my 87 300 DA. I have it at the marina hooked to shore power. i turn the water system switch on in the cockpit and I do not here the pump turn on nor do I have any running water. Is there another fuse somewhere or did the pump burn up? It worked prior to today but I did notice I left the water system fuse on for several days..?

No I don't. The one in the cockpit will usually control everything in cabin for me.

there should be 2 simple disconnects at the pump. Take apart and check to see if you have power via voltmeter at the wires (with switch on). That should help you determine if its a fuse/switch issue or pump issue i.e. is the problem before the pump or at the pump. Pumps are easy and cheap to replace if that is the issue. Good luck!

That pump is located under a cushion in the aft cabin. It’s easy to get to and swap out if you need to.
But, make sure it’s the pump first and not a poor connection.
The connections on the fuse blocks under the dash and the connections for the breakers at the helm tend to get cruddy on that boat.
The clips that hold the glass fuses in are riveted and they get loose over time.
With the breaker on, and a test light, check to see if the pump is getting power. It’s easiest to get to.
If no power, then crawl under the dash and check both sides of the fuses with the test light for a bad one.
No bad fuse, then unscrew the breaker panel at the helm that has the ignition switches in it, pull it forward a bit, and make sure you have power to both sides of the fresh water breaker with it flipped on.

A few simple questions,
1. Do you have water in the tank?
2. Are you sure the battery switches are both on and the 12V breaker at the helm is turned on? You say you are on shore power, that is 110V AC, the water system pump is 12V DC. so the shore power won't do anything.
3. Do you have power to the pump? Check with a meter at the pump.
4. Do you have power to the water system breaker?

Also check the circuit breakers in the bilge to see if any of them has tripped. They are in the box on the forward engine room bulkhead.
