Thought some 268 owners might like to see a cabin getting stripped for redo. You can vist my albums to see progress of total redo ( http://clubsearay.com/forum/album.php?u=7558 ). Yes I may be nuts to start this ???

Maybe a little nuts to start it right now at the beginning of boating season?

What are your plans? I'd love to do the same and build a full length curved cabinet down both sides. Picture dropping a vertical surface from the (curved) plane that includes the window, filling that space with cabinetry (partially open with a rail, partially equipped with sliding doors) and continuing it all the way forward.

The V-berth filler cushions need to be reconfigured so they aren't two wedges that have a natural tendency to migrate rearward while sleeping and so they can be stored more easily. They also need to include the hard support base. The big table is also going away to be replaced by one much smaller and also more easily stored.

Aside from that fake teak floors, new carpet in brighter colors, new LED indirect lighting everywhere, ultraleather upholstery with better backrests, better shelving in storage spaces, and new laminate on everything else.
