help! my 1984 260 has a ford 302 engine and I am wondering what the best engine is for this boat? my first boat and dont want to throw money away! lol. I thought I had a 350 mercruiser, but was misled I guess. is this ford engine going to be super underpowered for my boat? should I look for a new engine? confused.

Go to NAPA with an old one. They are old semi-truck blades. Buying authentic replacements from a marina; you are paying double for the exact...same...thing.
