Hi all,
First timer here, I am looking for a manual for my boat, anyone have any idea where I can get one? I ordered one from ManualsInk.com and for some reason cannot get it downloaded and get no response from them for assistance.

thanks,
Ron

I can't help with a source but I went to the site you linked and found my manual. I was seemingly able to download it but I can't open it. They provided a password but I've encountered nowhere to enter that password.

Im wondering how safe it is to buy the manual from them

What is your HIN? I have a 245 SDC with the last to digits in the HIN 80 which represents the model year. It is registered as a 1981 though. It is a custom build from the factory without the bridge but came with the original owner's manual. It covers 245-260 SDB's. FYI, the wiring schematic in it is for the 270 SDB which I assume the smaller SDB's followed.

The last three digits are 812, manuals might be the same with just a few differences

Those numbers don't make sense. The Hull Identification Number should be located near the upper starboard side of the transom on the outside of the boat. 81 or 82 maybe? Regardless, hope you didn't pay much. Guessing you will be disappointed with what you get. 13 pages of common sense, 2 pages of simple (upper/lower deck) electrical diagrams for a 270 and about 12 pages of parts with their prices at the time. Got a kick out of that. The last 4 pages of parts is all that references a 245 SDC. Guessing all obsolete though.
This boat also came with separate manuals for the Mercruiser 260 and outdrive along with all appliances and accessories. Some useful information in them.
