1982 360 SRV - Waste Treatment

My fuse panel has a switch entitled "Treatment". Can someone please explain to me what this is for. I assume it has to do with waste management but I'm not sure what to do with it.

The older Sea Rays came factory equipped with an elaborate "treatment" system that was kind of automated once you started the process. Most have been replaced with standard vacuflush holding tank with pump out type systems. My friends 340EC still has the old system and it works but I'd rather it be replaced with a standard holding tank with pump out. My "treatment" breaker now powers the overboard macerator but I can't remember the last time I overboard discharged.

Thank you for the explanation. Since my boat is berthed in a Marina with full pump out facilities, I assume this Treatment switch is just A hold over from a prior time.
