Just purchased the boat in Washington ,imaculate shape 5.7 L and new leg only 70 hours. looking forward to putting on many more. Quick question to any of the owners out there that have that year or close to it . My boat does not have a rear seat at the stern.I have notice that some of the 1980 vintage,s on the used market had a rear seat ,was this an option ? I can always have one made but just wondered. Glad to be aboard

It was an uncommon option that sat very low and made it difficult to raise the engine hatch. My Dad has an '81 and a very close friend has an '82 (both of these were the same style as yours. They use comfortable folding deck chairs.

My '83 has the same hull, but the deck is different. Mine has a built in seat that can fold up.

Thanks for the info,I thought that might be the case probably a couple of comfortable deck chairs would be much cheaper than getting a seat made .
