1979 srv240 Weekender Engine cover rebuild.

Hello all,

I am new not only to your site, but also to boat ownership. I just purchased the 1979 Weekender and it is missing the engine cover and rear seats. I have been told by many that it is somewhat easy to build a new one, but I would really prefer to design it like the original. Does anyone know/have the original design so that I may get this project started? I have seen many pics, but nothing with measurments.

I would very much appreciate any assistance with this endeavor... lol

Unfortuanately, the only assistance I can provide is to tell you that I know of no measured drawings available. However, it's got to fit where it's got to fit, you know?

Lol, that's true... Well if I have to make one, maybe I'll draw out the measurements for others who may need them. It sure does help to have something to keep you honest when trying to restore a boat...
