This is my newest project, I got my work cut out for me. She’s not in too bad of condition, the deck is soft but not rottenn, the stringers and still in good condition, all the fabric and vinyl are gone or going. The engine hasn’t been started in 15 years. All the teak wood needs to be cleaned, brighten, and re oiled. I’m still deciding if I need to replace the gauges and steering wheel, or just clean them up.

It's a GEM!!!

Needs an enthusiastic cleaning. Probably have soft spots in the floor, could be stringers and transom too, if so, empty it out, lift out the fuel tank, engine, transom assembly, tie up all the wires, and cut away the interior fiberglass over the rot... but I think you've got a good start.

The 233 did not make these particularly fast, but it was a durable unit. A bit thirsty, but it's a 24ft boat.

This layout was always a favorite for deepwater fishing- the gunwales took rod holders and downriggers, and the open cockpit made great floor space. The original interior layout made it a great family beach-camper too!!
