I am looking into buying a 1979 30' weekender. It has been upgraded to 7.4 inboards. The transom and stringers appear to be solid but its been out of the water for 5 years. The port engine has the sea pump pulley removed and also the hose going into the water pump is taken loose (water pump on front of engine). I am guessing maybe they were going to replace the impeller on the sea pump and the hose was removed to winterize the motor. What all should I check before I try and start these up.
