hi I'm michael. I'm looking for a engine room hatch I just bought this boat for 300 dollors and hurricane Harvey that hit texas took the engine room hatch right off .Anyone know of a boat junkyard that might have one thanks

Welcome to the CSR.
I through my cover away a couple seasons ago. It was a real pita. Every time we needed to get into engine compartment for something we pretty much had to clear off the upper deck. It was also 3x the weight of what was required. I ended building a 3 piece cover out of checker plate aluminum and it makes life much better. The side covers are just wide enough to slide large rubbermaids in and the center covers the entire engine. Something to think about before going to the trouble and expense of finding the original.
I will add a couple pics later to show what I did.

No disrespect but it appears you have more problems than just the engine cover.

Here's a few pics of what I did. The little U channels lift out to open it all up. Aluminum wouldn't be cheapest option for most but may give you other ideas for yours. We don't miss the old heavy one piece cover one bit.

you are right,but I would like to keep the rain out and find the cover all at once..thanks for your input though.
