1978 240 Drainage Issues

I am having problems with water draining from the front cutty cabin area. We were washing it out earleir today and could not get the water to drain. The boat was on the trailer and I am wondering if the cutty cabin drain utilizes the side drain tube or it utilizes the rear drain.

Does Sea Ray have a drain diagram for this boat or can you give me some advice on why it would not be draining or how to remedy the situation?

On mine there is a bilge pump under the step going down into the cabin that drains out a side drain. Seems like it always leave a little water down there.

I had a '79 Sedan Cruiser [basically a 240 with a factory pilothouse] and i had the same bilge pump set-up. I hated it. If you have a drain that low in the hull, I would bet that it drains into the bilge if there is no pump.
