My father, brother and myself have a 1976 Sea Ray 195, have had it about 25 years I suppose. It has the 233 HP Mercruiser IO. I don't see many of these 195's around and hardly any at all with the 233 HP Merc. Were there not too many of these around?

Also, redoing the interior. The boat is a dark red hull, white on top with a burgundy red interior. Anyone make classic Sea Ray interior parts and or materials?

As far as anyone making parts for your 76. doubtful, but the trim on your boat is not very complex so any good trimmer/upholsterer should be able to easily repair or reproduce the original stuff if you bring it in. I'm a do-it-yourself guy with only a do-it-yourself budget so I'm recovering the entire interior of my 77 this winter. most of the wood interior peices on mine are in great shape except for the seat bases, they are not very complex and should be easy to reproduce with marine grade plywood. A good friend of mine in Eden Prairy MN has the exact same boat as yours except for his OMC outdrive. He likes to run his on Lake Minnetonka.

go the the SeaRay website and click on the sport boats and go to the archives. From there you should find a brochure for that year or close to it. Might help you show people what it used to look like.

So what happened to my reply with this vBadVanced software?
