Howdy all,

So the weather here in MI is finally starting to creep a little warmer and the itch is coming back to work on my 75 SRV190 and I've got a couple of questions.

First: I recall seeing pictures of a restore done on a SRV190 style boat where the rear seats were moved forward and the engine cover was converted into a sundeck/platform behind what became a rear bench seat. I can't for the life of me find where I saw this now (I believe it was here on CSR).

Second: I spent a solid chunk of time at work last night trying to find a decent tutorial on building/upholstering boat seats should I decide to undergo a project like the one I described above. That being said any links to one, or advice, would be greatly appreciated.

You can check out my profile to see how I redid my engine dog house and seat. I am attaching a picture I picked up of a 19 footer but I don't remember who sent it to me. It's basically the back to backs removed, dog house extended with rear seating installed.

For this type work you better be real good with a sewing machine and staple gun.

Good luck.
