1973 Sea Ray SRV 220 Cuddy Cabin

302 Ford
Finally finished (well..almost!) restoring our Sea Ray. The final addition is a top with backdrop and new moorage cover. After researching prices of have them made, we found a top with backdrop for $365, had it modified to fit our boat for $150.00, the had a moorage cover made for $350.00. In the end, we saved a bunch of money. Check out all my renovation pics on my 'Sturgeon Queen' profile. I'll try to attach a few here, it I can get it to work. Thanks for all the help I got from this site.

(Note: Guess the pics are a bit big...sorry about that!)

wow someone on the river (Kanawha River, Charleston, WV) has your boat. Same color. Very nice job on your refit.. congrats on keeping a great boat going.. Had a VIP Victory much like your boat.

Wow - awesome job there. Nice to see the older Sea Rays refurbished instead of scrapped. So many old Sea Rays get scrapped in my neck of the woods because people just don't want to put in the effort to keep them in good repair since they are looked at as "just another old boat"....

Nice boat for sure!

Great job looks real nice I like the camper cover

Looks like my '76 SRV200 except for mine has a white upper. Love the canopy. Where did you have it made? Great job on the interior. Mine took 12 yards of vinyl and 3 sheets of plywood. I had to rebuild the engine cover completely.

WOW you did an excellent job. I really envy your cover. Did you do that yourself or have it done?

We love big pictures more detail to be seen. Great job:smt038

Could you post a pic of the bow? I have a '72 and it looks like there should have been a sitting platform made of teak between the two teak bow rails that is missing on mine. I'm trying to figure out what the original might have looked like and how it was made.

Great looking boat, by the way.
