Hello all! I just bought a 1972 srv190 with a 302....havent even had it out yet, but runs like a top and is a beauty! Im looking for one trim piece for an air intake port (on the port side) -- if anyone knows where I can find such an item I'd love to know!

Any advice or comments about my boat?

Welcome aboard!

It should make a nice ski boat.

For the vent, I'd say just start looking at on-line stores. Or, do you have a actual marine store near you? They should either have it, or should be able to get it for you. If it's rectangular, with louvers, I think you'll be able to find it.

thank...yes, we have a marine shop here locally, I'll check it out...we're in a pretty small town so I wasn't sure it'd be worth my while. And yes, it is rectangular with the fins - sounds like you know exactly the one Im talking about! I love the boat and can't wait to get it out on the water!!

Try your local guy, first. It's always good to support locally owned businesses. If you have trouble getting it, PM me and I'll try to help.

sounds good - I like to support local business....I'll check today when I go get a few basic necessities I am needing. Thanks!
