Recently rescued an old 1972 Overnighter. I am nearly finished with the project, but I need a pic of the dinette to see what the table looks like. I think the table I built is not even close to original. Thanks, Billy

I think he meant that he would like to see pics of what you've been able to accomplish. It's always nice to see resurrections.

Suggestion... don't get too concerned with making it "factory". It won't affect resale value in any way, shape or form. Instead, take this opportunity to improve on what Sea Ray did and make it more usable for you and your family/guests.

You might get lucky and see some pics in the Sea Ray archived brochures. Even if you have to look at other model years.

Hi,
I appreciate your clarification. Here is the table I made.
Thanks,
Billy

I know these Sea Ray's pretty well - and there's nothing about that table that looks out of place. It could easily pass for original. It looks very nice and blends right in with the interior aesthetics.

The steering wheel... well... ;)

The only thing I could offer about the table is that, from the picture, it looks too big to drop down onto the supports to convert the dinette into a berth. But that's a minor point - you could always use a separate piece of wood for that and retain the larger table.

Yes, it is way too big for a bed, but I thought a table small enough for the bed would be too small for eating. I did see a picture of a table that might be original. It was narrow and was hinged in the middle, so the outside of the table was a drop down leaf. Is that an original?
It looked as if it was wood with no laminate.
Thanks,
Billy

Another question...
Should my wheel be the same classic one I had on my 1977 SRV 220 runabout? If so, I need to start looking.

I agree with you about the table size. I'd take the larger, usable table over a smaller one that fits the space for sleeping.

I was just joking with you about the wheel in regards to the vinyl wrapping on the wheel.
