1966 SRV180 O/B Black Beauty Resto

I got 70% off on the nautilux i used in the cockpit,it still wasnt cheap though, and of course then you have to drag the wife out of the store.

Well...got home with about 30 minutes of daylight left and started buffing a little
I think with some real work the hull is going to clean up...

You missed a spot !
Amazing what a little elbow grease will do - looking good.

well this weekend I cleaned out the time machine chamber(old crappy garage)...and set the dial to 1966.
getting dark earlier everyday so the work will begin soon

Don't be so harsh, any garage you can work in out the weather is a "great" garage. I'm looking forward to seeing the progress

well got back into her tonite for awhile and was pleasantly surprised when I opened the motor shroud ...clean as a pin

and thank god for other people's incompetence ...the cobble floor came right off by hand, no tools required

the floor needs a little love but the stringers are solid as a rock

Looks like you found a good hull there, wheew!

Any updates on the project Jim?
not yet
my company built a new shop and I was in charge of moving it and running both at the same time
had about 30 days straight of 14-16 hour days with an hour drive on both ends...time has been precious
but will start back on her soon

YIKES!!!!! You need to be out on the boat,,,, any boat!!!!!
last day out of the slip for me was October 20th...my birthday...then the chaos began
finally settling in and trying to get rested up a bit. Lost 25lbs in 30 days during that move.
