195 sport - 360 Photos of my Sea Ray Buff and Gelcoat fix

I thought I would share a few photos of the gelcoat repair I have had done. There was a 12ft radius stress fracture on the hull. Every gelcoat repairer said they would two pack paint it. None wanted to do it because of the colour yellow. One guy said he would do it and he has done a excellent job
Anyway I got a Samsung Gear 360 Camera which only released in korea and singapore last week. This is especially good to put the photos into a gear virtual reality device and view in 360 mode which makes it look like you are in the photo and everywhere you turn your face, the image turns as though you are turning to look at a different area of the phtoos. All very amazing.

Well seeing your computer monitor is not a Virtual reality device, just click the links and use your mouse to enlarge them by clicking on the image and then pull the image around as it goes 190 degrees to 360 degrees.


The reason iwant to show these are so new boat owners know how good a great wet sand and buff can look. This poor guy in some photos has been rubbing this boat for about 3 or 4 weeks and has about a week or so left to do the inside. So it is far from finished but you can see the massive difference of the yellow before which looked redish, to the yellow now.
This is a big job so newbies maybe think about getting it like this and then looking after it. This boat is new to me and I will protect it here on out.
When this is finished it has a polar white monster MTk tower (first and only white one in Australia) to be installed with a grey bimini and thanks to lazy dave it will have brand new original OEM same colour seats (yellow, grey, white) and brand new upholstery and charcoal carpet for a awesome contrast against the white deck. I wish it was arctic white and not off white, but so be it.

Hopefully all goes well, Steve from these boards will hook em up some covers and I am desperate to get some 195 decals. I have the original ones new but i would die for the 2011 super sport decals in black and silver. Die for them.

Anyway I am only really sharing these photos because someone has put alot of hard work into it and they should be shared. I have repaid the owner of the company by finding him a trustworthy 16 year old to become his apprentice on a 4 year apprenticeship, not to forget the $15k that insurance paid him and the $3k out of my pocket.

Ignore the tower rails, someone stole the tower.

In a week or so I will post the end results but this colour is too crazy not to share....

Anyway i know they are not much to look at but thought id show the boat and this new 360 camera at the same time. I am installing it on top of the waketower light as i can control it by my phone and that way I can video 360 degree wakeboarding so when you watch in a VR headset you can face forward and watch the front of th boat or face back and watch the boarder. You are fully immersed in the video.

P.S. If anyone can source me the exact decals I want, I will give them a free brand new Blade Chroma 4k camera drone with optional Rakon upgrade kit. ( The manufacturers replaced it for me after power failure and after i purchased a replacement myself ). You can set it on follow me mode and it simply follows you in your boat recording you never letting you out of the video frame. On Auto Pilot

If you see the image of the bow seating area you will see a hole where the backrest cushiopn goes.
it appears this hole was made by the factory when they installed the tower.
Unless my gelcoat guy is lying to me and he cut the hole so he could remove the tower.

Could any other owners confirm they have the same hole with their factory tower? Id like to know if this was a factory hole. To me it seems a little unfactory
