Hello, I am a new boat owner and just purchased a 2001 190 SD with a 4.3 from a boating club here in TX. while there are a few more hours than I'd like (900) on the boat and a little more wear too, I feel that since this is a good quality product, we should get many years of enjoyment since it will now be used by only one owner. We will trailer it instead of slip. I have service records going back over 5 years. I will be glad to hear from similarly situated owners about their recommendations and problems or whatever. One specific I do want to address though is that I have a chip the size of my pinky nail in the lower starboard /aft corner of the hull. The depth is less than half an inch and there is very slight de-lamination. Can I fix myself(functional is primary concern, not cosmetics) or do I have to pay someone else? I want to learn to do as much as I safely can so maybe this is a good way to start? :smt038
