Hi -
I just joined this site. I'm getting ready to purchase a 2002 190 Sundeck. I have a few questions:

1) Can the 5.0L 220 HP pull a large slalom skier out pretty easily?

2) I've found a very well-kept 190 SD with 167 hours and asking price is $12,000. Does this sound like a pretty good deal?

3) Dumb question, but where is a good place on the 190 SD to put a boat name? It doesn't quite have a logical spot on the stern like the 200 or 210.

Thanks in advance for your input!

Under 500 lbs should be no problem... My 190 has a 4.3 and we have pulled a 200 lb skiier with out a problem with 2 adults and 3 children on the boat...

Sounds good to me... Assume it has a trailer...

Trying to remember where I put the name... I think I put it on swim platform, 3 inch letters... some people put it on the aft sides...

4) I put all new canvas on my '01 last year... Got a great deal from Great Lakes Canvas... We went from Tan to Black... Makes the boat look great...

Thanks for the quick reply. Did the new canvas include the snap on covers, or just the bimini?

I did not buy a bimini, just the cockpit, bow cover, and bimini covers... It cost about $600 for all but the bimini... My bimini is in good shape..

Great...thanks again for the information. I'm doing a water test this weekend and hope to purchase it next week.
