Looking for assistance with the correct part for the illuminated toggle switch for the nav lights. According to my local dealer, SR changed from a single rocker switch that controlled both nav and anchor lights in 2005 to separate toggle switches in 2006. My bow light wasn't working, so the first step was to replace the bulb. That wasn't the issue and since it was summer, I haven't run past dawn so no worries. I noticed the toggle switch was loose and not clicking into position. I went to the dealer and gave all necessary boat information and left with a new toggle switch. It turns out that the nav toggle switch is listed as a double pole, single throw switch. The dealer gave me a single pole, single throw toggle switch. I took it back the next day and the service department swears that is the correct part. I showed him a picture from my boat and he said that was what SR sent them and recommended that I try to make it work. I attempted to jumper the matching wires and now I don't have either nav or anchor lights. I brought the part that came out of the boat to the dealer. They are still researching. According to the parts diagram, the part number is 1761354 and shows as a DPST toggle switch. So both SR and my dealer need to go back to electrical switching 101. Anyone that can direct me to another more knowledgeable dealer that can verify the correct switch would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. I have been to their site before. Searched by SR part number and found the correct switch. Ordered it and couple of other items to bring total over 25. Hope that this fixes my light issue.

FPMarine mailed my switch and other purchases promptly. I installed the new switch and after blowing a few fuses, got the wires correct and now I have my nav and anchor lights working. I brought the wrong switch back to the dealer and showed him the part number that fp sent. He still tried to tell me it was the wrong part number. I told him that it was correct and that I got my lights working. Good luck to other 2006 185 sport owners that run into the same situation.

In case anyone searches for nav switch, here is the Sea Ray part number, 1761354. And this is the Carling manufacture part number, LT-2511-1.

I really appreciate you cause I’m needing an anchor switch for 195 sport right now
