Can someone explain (or take a picture) of the rear seat/cushions on a 2005 185? I purchased my boat with the fish/ski option which replaced the cushions with two swivel seats and a small center cushion. Are these cushions just cushions or do they have a hard base like the front pads do?
My center cushion is just a piece of foam wrapped in vinyl and I'm thinking about having two large cushions made to put back there instead of the swivel seats. Its such a pain to step around the swivel seat so we usually take one seat out while we're swimming and just set it on the floor. The kids tend to step on the seat and its not a great idea considering it swivels...my wife almost bit the dust doing that once.
The price for the rear cushions from the dealer are over $1000.00/each. I'm not willing to spend that much. I found a local place that claims to do marine upholstery (possibly a home based business), I'm waiting for a call back from them.
