185 MOD questions.....

Well i noticed 2 things from the 195 that i would like on my 185.

-front "center" bow cushions (seating)
-Drivers seat with the "folding up bench seat" (easier to drive while standing)

DOes anyone know if i could just buy these things form searay and just put them on..? The drivers seat must just pop off and bolt right on.. but i know the bow cushions might have to de drilled and put on with the "christmas tree style fasteners)

Crock....

I have an 06' Sport 195.... The two items you are asking about (the drivers seat and the front seat cushions) should be availbale through SeaRay.... I don't think you would have any trouble getting them....

The drivers seat should be "plug-&-play"... I would think it should bolt right up in place of your old one (but not sure...) Unless the bracket is different you should be ok....

However....

I think you may have a problem with the bow seating towards the very front of your boat. When I was looking at boats, I looked at the 185 and I seem to remember that there was only a step towards the very front of the 185, where as in the 195, there is a removable cushion (the one you are looking for) with storage space beneath.... With that being said, I don't think there is enough "meat" (fiberglass) where the front 195 cushion would sit....

It may be easier having an upholstery shop make you a bow cushion that can be bolted in place...

They are both available, but you dont want to know the price on the seats. I have the front bow cussion I have pics in my gallery, and I asked about the seats. I believe they told me they were around 1K for the seats. You can also buy the storage tubs for under the rear seat from MM if you are interested. They are only like 100 or 150 I believe I have checked on them too.

yea if anything on the bow seating i might just put in the partthat your back rests on, not the part yoru butt would sit on.. that sems like it would work.. and 1k for the fornt seat.. wow. oh well. when i get back on my feet ill look into that one.. thanks..
