That is an awesome video. I know a guy who was in his kayak, a couple miles offshore, near the oil rigs in the Santa Barbara area about 2 years ago. His kayak was grabbed by a white and it shook him around for a few seconds. It then circled back, went underneath him, then never returned. Based on the bite marks on the bottom of his kayak, they estimated it was in the 16 ft range. Most the whites live in Central and No-Cal around here, but we have sightings in So-Cal each year, sometimes close to the beach.
