Well if you're only going to take two boat pictures, they should look like these.
...and they are beautiful.
OMGawd!!! How peaceful....and private!
Very nice pics.
We just spent a week there on a houseboat out of Wahweap a couple of weeks ago.
Very beautiful place, just wish it wasn't so far from my house.
We had that whole cove to ourselves for four days.
Great way to see the and enjoy the lake is on a house boat and great times with friends or family.
This year we are about a month behind on the wether . Still getting wind each day and the water hasn't gone over 82 degrees yet.
However the no wind days and flat water will be coming soon.
I'd like to take our cruiser some day, but with the mussel problem, I don't think I ever will.
They're talking a 30 day quarantine if they find any on your boat.
Hasn't gone over 82? Geez, that's like a hot tub. Ours tops out around 73-75, max. Great South Bay does get warmer though because it's only like 10 feet deep.
Fantastic 2 photos!
JC, nice photos, thanks for sharing them with us. Beautiful part of the country you're in.
Where is that?
Agreed on the photos. Calendar material there.
I haven’t seen 65 degree water yet for God sakes.
When I go in to set a stern anchor my junk turns inside out.
Beautiful pics... We did get the dock to ourselves, but no comparison.
Lake Powell, Arizona/Utah, mostly Utah.
I would love to visit there someday. Beautiful pics!
I have to ask, what in the world do you do for 14 days on the hook? Asking for a friend lol
RELAX is what I'd do, but go for 15 or more days if I could...….
The trip was to be 20 days however I had to cut it short.
We literally didnt go on land for ten of the 14 days.
To your question:
1> Count my blessings... over and over. We are blessed to have the lifes we all have!
2> Enjoy the time with my girlfriend and our kids. Out of the 14 days the kids where only there for 4 days.
3> See above... if no kids for 10 days.... well you get the point.
4>We traveled 3/4 of the lake ... about 800 miles of shore line. We had our 14 ft boat in tow so once we found a spot every couple of days to be on the hook we used that to explore.
5>Drink, eat, enjoy the company of other boaters we know and even made a couple new ones along the way.
6> went 10 days without even looking at my phone- email- text messages.
7> Being on the boat, cleaning it, organizing it, doing diffrent maintenance, providing a great time for family/ friends is just good old therapy for me!
Going to do 30 day on it mid September to October.
