I have a 2001 sundancer it stills has the TV/vcr combo in it.... Just wondering how do you remove it? Is it bolted down.... What bracket is used to installed a flat screen tv???? I'm also debating on running a inverter or buying a 12volt TV.... Any help wound be great a great help

The TV is mounted to a piece of wood which is screwed into the cabinet from below. Get into the space below the TV and look up for about 4 screws. Take them out and you can remove the TV with the wood attached then more screws allow you to remove the piece of wood from the TV.

Ok thanks.... what mount is everyone using to install flat screen tv

I did a TV delete and used the space for a liquor cabinet. Much better use of space! (LOL!)

Ok got the tv out.... now I gotta figure out the best way to mount it in the same place.... thinking of putting a piece of wood across the back with ell brackets and put a mount on there....

Liquor kept in the fridge.... kids need something to do when I'm lounging out back

Our kids are grown and gone.
Maybe some type of swing out bracket so you still have that empty cavern to fill. You never have enough storage.
We don't watch much TV so the delete was not an issue.
When we are on the boat, we escape the "real world"!

We bought a 22" Skyworth TV/DVD and love it. Have a mount in the cabin and another on the arch so we can move it to the cockpit. Also installed a Bluetooth transmitter and receiver and listen to the TV through the stereo. Great system for our 260.

I took the TV out. They screwed directly into the TV on the swivel! I replaced it with a 15in Naxa 555 12v 120v TV.

For the mount I went to Home Depot and got a length of channel that you use to mount garage f
Door openers with then made two L brackets and mounted them on the back of the TV and screwed them on to the swivel table.

here is what we did to install a 28" Vizio TV in the cabin.....we used the mount that came with the TV and bolted it to the swivel base...we can watch the TV from the dinette and from the V berth bed....i have a Bluray DVD player installed behind the TV also on the swivel base....the orange bungee cord secures the TV while the boat is underway and is pushed back under the TV out of sight normally...

Here is my 19 Vizio set up. (Excuse the fish eye lens effect)

This is the swing arm mount that allows it to face the berth or the dinette.
