1200 Miles Down and Back on the ICW in a 290DA

Sadler,

I live in Jacksonville. I have 1999 270 Sundancer that I recently purchased through a broker.

Fortunately; I knew the owner and was able to negotiate direct with her.

Next boat you find in Jacksonville, if you do, I'll be glad to check it out and also would be happy to refer you to the broker I dealt with.

Sounds like a real nice trip you are planning. Toot the horn when you come through Jax!

Mitchell

Thanks Mitchell!! Will do on the reference and the toot!

Sadler,
Good luck on your upcoming trip, I will definitely be looking for your post. What is this about you selling your 290?

Thanks, I am so looking forward to this trip.

Regarding my 290: it is sad. My wife won't let me keep two boats, and if I want to move up, Hey Babe will have to go. I've got it listed on boattrader.com, and if a buyer comes along, she'll probably have to go (the boat, not my wife). I showed it to a couple who drove up from Savanna on Sunday. Someone is going to get a fantastic deal on that boat. I'll put it up on the CSR classifieds site tonight. Been meaning to do that. I would really just like to keep it. It's such a fantastic shallow water boat where you can find great out of the way spots for anchoring out. And it is tricked out to the gills and in excellent condition.

Edit: I just posted my 290 in the Classifieds here on CSR.
