We pulled our sixth 10 HR day yesterday. Today will be a shorter day.....what to do with the rest of the day? Wonder if I can talk my help into going out on the river for a cigar and bourbon?

Sounds like a plan to me.

10 hrs is a short day for me... 11 -12 is more like it.:smt100

And that's 5-6 days a week.:smt089 Hopefully new hires will work out. I know I still have a boat because the marina sends me a bill every month.

I work 11 almost every day mon-fri.,i just got home and am smoking a liga privada from drew estate,no alcohol though im a water only guy,and so i must pack for the long weekend on the boat.Because i have a

Well, no luck :smt089 I just walked in the door. So much for the short day. Another long one tomorrow, I at least need to go top the girl off before marina fuel goes up only $4.25 right now. Paying that much for the truck fuel.

I remember the good role 10hr workdays! Good times... now I pull 17 to 18 hour days a few days a week between school and work. God I can't wait to graduate!

Sounds like my wife during Grad School at W&M. Up at 3am to write a paper, school at 7am till 3pm, then classes till 11pm.... I am so glad she's done with those days. Good luck!

Thanks, if I keep on track I'll graduate next fall with an engineering / design degree!

Caffeine is my new best friend!

I used to pull what was called 9 and 10's. 24 on 24 off for 9 days, then off for 10 days.... Those were the good days. Now they pull something call 7 11's....no one I know likes them. I think I'd rather do 10 hour days and collect my pay!

didn't make it to the boat tonight... but I did have my Glen Livett and a Monte Christo

I will send you "good" single barrel bourbon.... If you will send some good Glen? I do hope you enjoyed both.

I did enjoy them thank you. You should be able to Glen Livett at your local spirits shoppe. 2 yrs ago I had the pleasure of some small batch single malt from Scotland. That stuff was heaven. Brought back by a gentlemen who books Celtic musicians for show around the States.

I'm about to start 12 hour days, 6 days a week, for the next 3 months! Money will be good I guess.

Steve, your boat is still there, floating, looking sad, wondering where you are!
