10 Day Trip

I am looking to take a 10 day trip in September..I am never able to take this type of time as this is my busy time at work..With business so slow, i am saying frig it....All my cruising has always been 3 day weekends...Block Island/Newport is the furthest I have cruised within a 3 day weekend.......I want the cruising to be west of the Elezabethian Islands as I cruise east of that all summer.....I will not have the kids so I do not need kid friendly places.......I also realize the Newport Boat Show is in September........My initial thoughts were...Block, Mystic and Newport......This would give me 2-3 days in each place and allow for weather flexibility.......Any suggestions/recommendations...I was actually thinking one long trip to Atlantic City, but afraid of weather that time of the year getting back

I am planning on being in Block Sept. 11-13 at Champlins. If you can arrange to be in block that weekend, that would be great...otherwise we will meet up somewhere along your journey.
I have also thought about the Atlantic City trip as being the "ultimate guys trip on the boat", but have yet to even chart out the course. Baltimore for a Sox / Orioles game is another week+ trip I would love to make.

Just finishing the reverse trip....Friday/Sat, Montauk LI, Sun/Mon at Block, tues-thur at MV Oaks Bluff, Fri/Sat at Newport and Sunday return to Beach Haven (20miles north of AC).

Anyway, NPT to AC is ~200nm but why? Unless you are a big gambler, AC does not really have a draw for me. I would rather spend the time on the Sound or Island hopping.

Making the run home tomorrow....weather looks great.

Share some details from the trip and also pictures. Sounds like a nice trip, which I'd love to take may be next year.
