We just made it back from a 10 day trip yesterday afternoon. We spent time at Pittsburg Yacht Club, Sausalito and Marin Yacht Club. The first day was Friday the 4th with winds in the AM up to 35 knots gusting up from there. By the afternoon it had calmed down and Thursday in Sausalito was the only other day that was cool and windy. Great weather, great friends and great times was had by all! Plan B performed near perfectly and other than having to bleed the power steering, everything was great.

What a great bunch of photos. It looks like you had good weather (for the most part) and some beautiful scenery to enjoy. Thanks for taking us along on your trip.

Best part may have been the dinghy ride out the Gate!

Enjoyed it....thanks.

Looks like you had a blast - fall is a beautiful time to be on SF Bay! When we lived out there, we did a cruise to Marin YC every Labor Day. Columbus Day weekend was Ayala Cove.
now that we live in Boston, we're thinking of things like shrink wrap and winterizing....

Beautiful pics - thanks for sharing your trip.

Hope you remembered to get the bottle and glass before you took off. What a great shot. I'm sure all the wine snobs who see it will have their juices flowing.

That bottle was empty before dinner was started! It didn't suck.

We also had a broker take about a dozen of us out on a 2014 Cruisers 48' Cantius with pod drives. Pretty cool, they had beer, wine and snacks for us and took us out in some choppy water and we were allowed to try out the joystick. Could shoehorn that boat into the smallest space, really amazing. Their version of "Skyhook" was pretty cool too. The open dash is like the new 510DA in that it provides a lot of light into the lower cabin. http://cruisersyachts.com/models/48-cantius/ Makes me want to see the new Sea Rays even more!

Sorry Dale, come on out for a weekend! We will be at the marina this weekend with some runs in the Caribe and 80 degrees then a Halloween Cruise the following weekend for a few days. Tell Tina we said hello!

Great photos! Looks like a great trip was had. Love the west coast, grew up in Ore.

Aren't I supposed to be in those shots with her highness, the Admiral Kathy ??? Super cool shots Ken ! You might think of that ten day trip as your normal boating agenda with the SRBCNC but, this my man, is nothing short of "Bucket List" boating to a whole bunch of us over here.

There are so many here who burn fuel on the East Coast, Gulf Coast and The Great Lakes and I will wager, everyone of us would absolutely love to be in these photos at least once in our lives....I am very fortunate that I did get to experience the Circle Cruise with this same group and my friend, I still brag about that one to this day.

These pictures should be in a magazine advertising for The Bay Area Chamber of Commerce or California Yachting or even SEA RAY BOATS! Please tell us all how to access a photo box where you have the SRBCNC pictures stored so everyone can see what you guys do every month or two …unreal.

Once again, great job V-Commodore, you are singly handedly carrying the Guidon and have gain the respect of many who follow your lead…. I am proudly one of those individuals.

Please tell Kathy that I miss her cooking and the steak I had on the egg was the very best ever….hope to see both of you soon!

Capt. Rusty Higgins

Post script….folks, if anyone is still reading this post all the way down here, I am telling you something important now … if you are ever in the SF area of this country and want to see super cool California boating, I would encourage you to PM or contact Ken (HUMP) in anyway possible. His group of the coolest folks around is The “Sea Ray Boat Club of Northern California” (SRBCNC) and they are the most hospitable boaters you will ever want to be with. I would go so far as to impose on Ken for how you guys can access his group and invite some of us easterners out there for the experience……you will then be able to place a big bold X in the box of your wishes yet to be seen…..Golden Gate, Alcatraz, The Delta region (which will blow your mind when thinking what is sea level and what is not), San Fran (Candlestick Park for us fellers)…on and on and on. I am in awe of how the SRBCNC Commodores (top two are ladies) of this group continues to foster the joy of boating to the point where other boaters come up wanting to join these folks. That’s cool! I have boated on the East Coast, West Coast (tampa/st. pete), Gulf Coast, Mississippi/Western Rivers and the Great Lakes…..I have now added the Left Coast to the log!

SRBCNC ROCKS!!!!

Looks like an incredible trip Ken! You are making me regret the fact that I hauled the 460 from Sausalito to Portland via the mighty I-5, vs. her bottom. That is some beautiful boating you have down there in SF. Unfortunately here in Portland the clubs are very few and I could only dream of an ALL Sea Ray club! Thanks for sharing!
