10 Best Lower Bay trip Destinations & Why

Several of us in the Lower Rappanahock are looking to plan 8-10 weekend trips around the lower part of the bay and would greatly appreciate all the tips we can get. Please tell us where you like to go an why or what we should plan to see while were they. 5-6 day trips recommendations are welcomed as well.

Lynnhaven Inlet

Go under the Lesner Bridge and hang a left and you have your choice of eateries/watering holes. Chick's is my favorite. Go up the creek a little further for fuel and supplies. Plenty of great fishing at the mouth of the Bay along the CBBT.

We enjoy Onancock when we are in that part of the Bay. It is an interesting little town with some really great resturants.
