Alright, here's what happens. Motoring along fine (30-35 minutes)at around 4000-4200 rpm when the boat just dies, everything. Pops the 50amp motor fuse and the 15amp fuse under the dash. Reset and replace them, go another 2 minutes then it happens again. Reset and replace them again, this time it goes for 1 minute, do this until I don't have any spare fuses and finally I'm afraid of burning up on the lake.
It only does it at one location which is 6050 ft. I took it to the dealer and they ran it at a lake which is higher elevation than that (6600) and said it never gave them any problems. What the hell is going on? Maybe she got hot running that high for so long and finally needed a break? The boat started doing this at 11 hours, (have 55 now) and I'm afraid to take it back up there and run it. It runs fine at the other 2 lakes where we go (5200ft & 5500ft) What does everyone else think? It has the 4.3 carb'ed motor and runs good other than that. Help!
