I just put the boat to bed for the winter and pulled my props off. Ive owned the boat two seasons now and I feel that the boat is lacking some performance when comparing it to some test numbers on the boat when it came out . I had no bottom growth on the bottom and running gear when I pulled the boat out. At 3650 Rpms the boat would run about 22 knots. I was just wondering if anyone has played around with props and pitch to go get their 380 sundancer to perform better. I have the 496 8.1 375HP motors, not the HO version . Spoke to previous owner and props havent been off the boat in quite some time.

Just curious what size and pitch they are.

I have 21" - 22* SB and 22.5* Port(I think same as yours). I run "about" 3500-3550 21-22MPH but there are a ton a variables with this number, level of fuel, attitude of lake, etc.

I was told to avoid going more aggressive(one more degree..) with pitch cause they're dialed-in from SR for my hull and motors. I believe this is based off of WOT though. I'd like a little more cruising speed if possible, like you.

Yes I was hoping for a little bit more speed. I typically cruise in the 34-3500 range and dont really like to push her to 3650-3700 even though these motors can run all day at that RPM
