Hi all,

I went to finish up cleaning the bilge after winterizing last week and could not get the engine hatch to lift. absolutely nothing !!!I have never had a problem with this prior to. I checked the transom door switch and does not appear to be that. I pulled the pins and got the hatch up manually. I checked all the fuses in the bilge for the hatch. I am leaning towards three items that I need to test. 1. switch, 2. relay, 3. actuators. It would baffle me that 2 actuators would go at the same time so I am thinking a power issue. I did also notice that the manually activated bilge pump is also not working on the switch panel (same panel) there is no power to light up the switch. This also did work prior to this. I am thinking both issues must be related but not sure where to look. Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks
Jason

loose ground at the battery? Now is the time to hard wire the actuators.
Typically the motors are reversable by reversing the battery connections so wire in a feed direct to the motor wires and run to a location where you can connect to a batery or jump pack

checked all grounds this am, have power to relay and powered up the actuators directly and they work. Thinking relay or switch pad.

"switch pad" aka EIM ? get rid of it and hard wire a new feed and switch

Ok, so Not the relay.
Yes, i believe it is going to be either the switch pad or EIM. I know both problematic. Is there any way to diagnose either? I have temporarily wired the actuators to be able to open and close for now. I understand what ur saying but would rather fix and replace what is broken than rewire the actuators with new switch and relays.

make sure you door is latched all the way back. There is a magnetic switch on the door so it has to be open. I was having boat moved and the part in the door fell out so switch would not make.

Are your battery switches on in the dc panel in cabin? I know that’s obvious but I have
Lots of those moments

Thanks guys
Yes one of the first things I checked was the door switch. I just bypassed it with a jumper. All the dc switches are on.
I’m leaning towards the switch pad or eim as the auto bilge pump switch also stopped working. I know which ever I replace it will be the other.

Took out switch pad and tested it on a friends 320. Diagnosis is a bad switch pad, not eim. Picked up new one today at sea ray dealer. I had to change out the new black bezel to my original woodgrain. It is only manufactured in black now.

Thanks for all the help
