Unscrew the panel. Let lay flat on towel. unscrew the tach, easy peazy
I went ahead and replaced the tach with a new one. The hours meter comes up on the new tach(0.0) but the needle on the gauge is parked at zero with engine at idle. I'm 99% sure I hooked it up right but with 15 wire inputs that go into the gauge it might take a while to diagnose! Anyone have a guess? Sending from engine problem or maybe a sync unit?
