Just put in water and there is sea water coming out of shift cable from motor to drive any ideas I’m at a loss this boat is killing me

Just replaced motors drive and assembly’s ran motors on ear no issues put boat in started 30 secs later salt water dripping out of shift cable on port motor (cable that goes to drive) bellows are good clamps are tight what the heck is happening?
