I have a 2001 260DA and I'm wondering if anyone has pictures, video or steps, showing how to run wires on starboard side of boat. I can get to the panel under the steering wheel, but after that I don't know what to take off or how to get to anchor locker. Thanks in advance

I just had a Lewmar Windlass installed. I'm getting mixed feedback on how the anchor rope should be prepared to attach to the chain. One camp says use a rope with a braided loop. Other camp says to use a thimble and a wire rope clip. Is either correct? Are both correct?
