The new Volvo-Penta FWD rigs have the prop on the front of the outdrive, pulling the boat. Is that a good idea?

I have a 355 Sundancer with KAD 44 engines (400 hrs on both). Started having sync problems then both engines would not accelerate above 3000 rpm. I had the turbo compressors cleaned and this worked for ten hours. Last week the fuel filters were changed and now I have the same problem.
