sea ray f16xr

I just acquired a Sea Ray F16 with the Mercury Sport Jet 175 HP with two lingering troubles. The fuel gauge is new, wiring to gauge is okay and float is working, gauge reads fuel level when ignition is turned on, however the 12 volts drops within seconds. Anyone have a wiring diagram? The purple...
