sea-fire

I have the Sea-Fire G500A on my 1998 370DA. I don't see a place where there was a pin or where a pin could go into stop it from going off. This is original to the boat I'm positive. I see an electrical connection to the bottle but does anyone know if I unscrew that connection will the unit go...
