lighthouse charts vs. navionics

In process of updating our helm add in pair of Axiom 12 MFD's. The units come with current Lighthouse charts. I've read Raymarine Lighthouse has made significant upgrades. Still people prefer Navionics for pre-programming routes on Ipads. Has anyone have time on newer system for comparison...
