I finally did. I finally drilled two 2-1/4" holes in my gunwales. All the anxiety is finally over. And it was a complete success. I can see why there isn't one thread or post on this forum of anyone who has done it, it's not for the faint of heart. And Sea Ray made it difficult on the port side...
